After using the Jeasaux PC-106 and PC-108 shell for Steam Deck with modified thermal pads for maximizing the dissipation through the metal plate on the back shell. I decided to improve this passive cooling with bunch of small 9x9mm heatsinks stacked and glued to that metal pad.
This improved the passive cooling and lowered temperature of the metal parts that are kinda in the reach of your fingers.
After accidentally tearing few of the heatsinks out I decided to make this frame to better protect them from catching on edges and also to protect myself from sharp edges of the heatsinks.
USE SUPPORTS AND BE READY TO SPEND EVENING REMOVING THEM!
This might be better for SLA printing but it's doable.
