This guide can be used to guide the drilling of a hole up to Ø 12 mm:
- on a flat surface, at an angle ranging from 45° to 90°,
- on a tube with a diameter up to 140 mm,
- on the edge of a board (assuming it is at 90°).
What's more, if the guide is damaged by the drill bit rubbing in the guide hole, there's no need to throw it all away. Change only the guide tip (less than 8g of plastic) instead of the main tool!
To do this, the guide bit is held in the main tool in rotation by a cam and in translation by a Ø 3 mm, 12 mm long bolt. You have the step or f3d file in ordre to make other Ø of hole.
It is also possible to hold the tool on a board with a joint clamp.
By printing the tools in different colors, it is easy to identify them even if they are all marked with their characteristics (hole diameter for the guide bit or drilling angle for the main tool).
To assemble the main guide (90°, 75°, 60° or 45°) you will need:
- 1 bolt Ø 3 mm, length 12 mm
- 1 square nut and 1 washer
To assemble the tube drilling attachment to the 90° drilling guide:
- 4 bolts Ø 3 mm, length 25 mm
- 4 square nuts and 4 washers
