In our master closet, we installed the Easyclosets shelf system using their floor-mounted style with base moldings and curved corned shelves.
The provided base molding is straight and sits on the floor in front of the bottom shelf. But the corner shelves have a 3" radiused edge, and the vendor doesn't have a molding solution for the curved corners. Their suggestion is either leave the molding open there, or install the standard toe-kicks under the bottom shelf, and set back from the edge. Neither looked right to me, so I designed this corner piece. It matches the molding profile and dimensions, and has a tab on the back for 3M double-sided mounting tape to hold it in place.
The most difficult step of this project was trying to match their Coastal Grey color. After sanding smooth and priming the surface, I got 4 sample-size paint jars in various shades of gray and tan and tried to streak them on with a light brush touch. After several tries, the color ended up not exact, but close enough!
