The pillars are designed to fit your flight attendance trolley which you might have.
They usually come with the original rolls.
Those rolls crack up and dry out very fast when they stay in the living room for example.
Replacement parts are waaay to expensive, so I've taken advantage of adaptive manufacturing and this is the result.
You can print them out within 12h (Set of 4)
SLICED with Beta V2.7.xxx Prusa Slicer ( Be aware when using the PrusaXL Gcode)
How to remove the original rolls from the trolley:
- On the right side, there is a small plastic part which prevents the ball-bearing balls (Ø 8mm) to get out.
(most likely will be destroyed, no issue) - Remove this part fully, angle your trolley to the side and they are starting to get out themselves.
- Get all the balls out, while rotating the trolley feet.
- lift out the feet and remove it completely.
- Place the new printed part, check its fitting.
- while the new pillar is all the way in, replace the balls and close it with the new printed lid.
- Repeat the same process for all four pillars.
