Hanging planters are great, but watering them can be a bit of a hassle. With this high reach watering pitcher you an now water them without the need of chairs or ladders. You can even choose to put them even higher and make the most daring wall garden.

How do you make it? Well, you first need to get your hands on a spare broomstick and measure its diameter. The model was made for a stick with a diameter of 22,3 mm, so scale accordingly! You will also need a piece of string and a tiny wood screw (or some glue) to make the final assembly. It technically works without the screw but it makes for a more solid build overall and locks everything into place.

You can now start printing! I recommend white PETg for the pitcher and black PETg for the rest. I printed them on 0,2 mm layer resolution. The infill can be 20% or lower for most pieces, but I switched it to 50 % for the axis, as it has to support the weight of the pitcher.

Once you have all of the printed components you can start to assemble the model.  First, place the stick cap inside the pitcher with the hole facing towards the outside . Then thread the axisthrough both the pitcher and the stick cap. Make sure  the indented side is facing the bottom of the pitcher. To lock everything into place just place the broom stick into the stick cap and finish off with the screw (or some glue).

Next slide the handle into the broomstick from the other end and tie it to the top of the pitcher with the piece of string, passing it through the hole on the stick cap. You can check the attached image to see how the string is placed.

Now fill it up with water and quench the thirst of those high pots!
