Faunch Pad is a micropad kit from gboards.ca (closed as of this writing). It was sold as a kit for a limited time and required SMD soldering to complete. As such it is a rare device, and I have never seen a holder for it. So I decided to make an attempt.
Steps:
- PDF
- downloaded from gboards.ca
- Convert PDF to SVG (attached to Printable)
- Opened and edited in Inkscape.
- Probably could have exported straight to DXF after cleaning the PDF.
- Convert SVG to DXF (attached to Printable)
- Inkscape “save as…”, attached to Printable
- Import to Onshape
- New Sketch
- Import DXF
- Make paths coincident
- Scaled from inch to mm with distance constraint * 0.0394
Onshape Model (should be fork-able and most of the model has variables to allow for tweaks. But let me know if you need help.)
