I created a modular inlay for my Pelican 1560 Toolcase - Printable on i3 style printers.

====  This is currently still a WIP  ====

I am working on and using this inlay system since more than two years now so I decided that it is time to share the design despite I am still working on it.

All parts are separated into pieces that are easy to print on a small printer (150x150 mm bedspace is sufficient). All parts are screwed together with M3 sink head screws. (You will need an angled allen key for screwing the parts together.)

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Modular Base Grid

The modular base grid is held in place by the divider boards, these measure 95x360 mm and were made of 6mm plywood. The slots are corrected to be straight so the plywood sheets are rectangular. The base grid features top holes for additional customisability if needed.

All parts of base grid are ment to be printed top down. I used 0.2 mm layer heigth with 0.4mm nozzle, 3 perimeters with 20% gyroid infill.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Removable Tray Grid

The tray is taylored to my needs as an event technician, for sake of space efficiency I decided not to make it to modular.

The tray is build up on a 6mm board of plywood with 512x385mm size. I am currently working on the mounting wholes, I will finally provide a drawing (I am about to finally get a new sheet laser cut for me). I used drill guides so far (you will find them attached).

All parts besides the grips are ment to be printed top down. The grip panels are best placed outside down. I used 0.2 mm layer heigth with 0.4mm nozzle, 3 perimeters with 20% gyroid infill.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tray Drill Guides

I created a set of drill guides to drill all the holes into the board for the tray. The holes on the outer walls are symetrical so you can use the corner parts on the opposite corner. Also the corner parts are used to round the corners so that they fit the case.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Due to the complexity of this modell I will not upload any kind of configurator. If you want to modify some parts please feel free to message me.
