I admit, this was a bit of a silly project… but at least it works!
Basically i designed a gun that uses the spring in a mousetrap to fire a bullet with a decent amount of power.
the mousetrap I used has the following dimensions:
LxWxH = 96mm x 48mm x 6.5mm (this is just the wooden base)
If you want to print the gun but your mousetrap is different, than I would scale up or scale down the model so your trap fits as well.
I have included a small “test_part” that you can scale up or down and to test if the trap fits… You should then use this scale for the other parts as well
if your trap is a lot bigger then mine than you should probably not try it, or find a different trap :-/
how to assemble:
1 insert mousetrap from the side
2 place slider
3 add spring and aiming part
4 add trigger
5 add 2 levers in front
6 put long pin through levers
