This is a replacement cap for my KickR 2017 model indoor bike trainer. The original cap kept coming off. I printed the samples with a MK3s+ with a version 2 mmu. The mmu is not needed for the colored text.
Print the cap face down. If you want colored text, I would just switch colors for all of the layers above and including the layer where the text is bridged over. Using the mmu for the text took a long time and was not necessary to get the desired look.
It was a bit challenging to get the plug diameter right for the hole in the KickR. It should be a pretty snug fit.
It might work on other model KickR's.
I hope this helps someone with a KickR cap that is flying off when riding.
Edit: I added a version of the cap without text. That way you can make your own version.
I also reduced a flange diameter a small amount so that it does not cover the text on the flywheel.
