My simple sliding sign has a total of 4 parts:
- frame
- plate with the text
- stopper
- sliding (covering) door.
All parts can be printed separately, without support. The sliding door and plate will insert into the rails from the side and closed with the stopper.
The plate with text can easily “colored” (even on standard printer without MMU) by simple trick: in PrusaSlicer use color change for last “flat” layer and continue with changed (green or red) color up to the full height of the letters.
The plate can easy change from the side by a plate with another text.
Filament used:
- black for the frame and stopper.
- white for the plate
- colored for the text
Print in 0,2mm resolution.
Instructions:
- remove the stopper
- remove the slider and plate
- place the other plate
- place the slider and stopper
