I made the knob extend out equal length, this way there was less directional torque on the knob and more rotational torque, in an attempt to prevent breaking again.
Printed upright with supports, this way the surface of the knob is the nicest and gives the shaft good strength to not stretch out around the valve. This was in ABS, since it was already loaded but PLA should be just fine. 40% infill, again because that was what other pieces on my bed needed (Voron 2.4 parts).
