Miata NB Center Console Hinge and latch

A fix for broken Miata NB center console latch, or a floppy console hinge because the plastic-hinge has cracked. 
The latch model should fit without any modifications to the console or lid.
The hinge model replaces the metal and plastic secions of the console lid.  This removes the spring-open-assist, but I don't see any reason to include it. The console underside needs to be modified (cut) to make room for the hinge pivot.  There is a slot where the metal hinge has clearence to the console underside.  This needs to be extended the lenght of the hinge.  I scored the plastic several times along the lip on the opposite side of the lip from the plasstic hinge. Once scored you can use pliers to bend the part back and forth until it brakes off. Don't cutt too much off, the snugness of this edge is what helps keep the top hinge piece snapped into place.  I did not use adhesive, but a little might not hurt. I've included an image with the cut line and x-ed out part to be removed.
For the hinge-rod, I used 1 mm carbon fiber rod that is used for model airplanes (metal would work fine too):

I used a soldering iron to melt the end slightly to retain the rold, although I suspect it would stay in place.  A bit of glue on one end of the rod would also work.
I used PETG with 0.1mm adaptive-variable height with supports on build plate only.
