For our tree at home I'm printing some ornaments with wood PLA. After printing some nice decorations from the creators mentioned above, we wanted a matching peak.
I printed it in 3 seperate parts, due to the hight restriction of my printer. When done this way, no supports are needed although a bit of drooping might occur at the bottom curve of the speheres. Printing in one go should also be possible without supports, altough that might not be recommended (if you try, please post your findings below!). I put a brim on it (7mm with a 0.01 gap), due to the small contact surface with the build plate. Printed with a 0.4mm nozzle.
