I tried a cantilever arm design for a 3 kg (~250 mm diameter) spool. I probably skimped on infill, and it had started sagging. Finally I just decided to recreate the basic roller design since it'd print faster. But this has four rollers just to be safe. Also the inner wheels will hold a 1 kg (~203 mm diameter) spool fine.
Should easily accommodate a 3 kg spool, and I added a version that should fit 4/5 kg spools with ~300 mm diameters with lowered wheel positions. That said, maybe googling the dimensions of larger spools were wrong, but it defo fits Overture 3 kg spools. OBJs included for those inclined to correct/remix.
The length of the body should be about 175 mm to fit on smaller printers.
Lubing the rods (just used what was left of my Prusa tube) was necessary. Otherwise my Bambu would drag the spool along the floor.
