This tool is used to cut the angle on mountain bike handlebars so that WTB padloc grips can be installed. See the WTB website for info on how to mark the bars before cutting. Cut at your own risk. Once the bars are cut, they cannot be un-cut, so take your time and be careful.
The tool uses a 1/4" bolt as a pinch clamp to hold everything steady during cutting. The 1/4" x 2" long dowel pins are used a guide for the saw blade. They are spaced wide enough for a grit style blade that is used for carbon bars.
I used this to cut carbon bars that were still mounted on my bike and got a nice, clean cut that worked well with the WTB grips. I used my other thing (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4280411) to make a square cut on the bars first (only needed if adjusting the length before making the angle cut).
