This template can be used on the end of a board to create a 1" diameter x ½" deep cutout for a 1" dowel to rest in. The cutout is inset 1.75" from the end of the board.
There are many uses for this but I designed this to make a wooden climbing ladder for my kids that can hook onto the 1" rung on a Pikler Triangle or other climbing structure. The height and angle can then be adjusted by moving easily to different rungs.
If you need different radius sizes or offsets from the end there is a parameterized fusion file attached. You may also message me with requests and I can post new versions with other dimensions.
This is an original model that I created to fit my needs for a project but was inspired by the great corner radius templates by @FilipHonzarek which I also heavily use in my projects.
