This print slips onto the end of a 1 - 5/8 inch outer diameter steel pipe, which is set in a heavy cast iron patio umbrella stand. Light strings hang from this part, and are staked out around the umbrella stand, to create a lit Christmas Tree for outside decorations.
I used a 9' pole and a 6' ladder to set it up. Two strings of 200 LED lights, which were 66' long each. Friends and I set it up flat on an open space, then carried it over to install on the pole. Then staked out the lights to the ground.
It is designed to sit on the print bed as shown. I found in PLA it prints well with minimal supports using organic supports. Recommend a high infill and more outer perimeters than default, to improve strength. As PLA is not great in high heat or UV situations, I recommend printing a new one each year, or print in ASA.
