You can add haptic feedback to the Simagic P1000 Pedals using the official peripheral or you can DIY by using some relatively inexpensive components.
You'll need:
- Nobsound USB Amp (about 45eur at the end 2023)
- two “resonance speakers” (about 25eur at the end of 2023)
- Screws
- Short electrical wiring depending on where you want to place the amp
Print the adapter which will allow you to screw the shaker to the pedals. It also creates the contact surface so the vibrations from the shaker pass on to the pedal.
Step by step:
1. Rotate the the contact pad from the shaker to remove it and expose the screw hole
2. Screw the shaker screw fully onto the adapter.
3. Screw the two screws that will connect the adapter onto the pedal and then tighten them on the pedals, leaving the shaker screw exposed.
4. Rotate the shaker onto the screw so it's snug and tight but beware it doesn't bend the contact pad (if the screw is too big)
5. Run the cable as you prefer (on mine I created an extension that winds down through the openings on the pedal arm) to connect to the amp. Repeat for the other pedals and connect to the amp.
