Simple Slingshot Frame for Ocularis Plugs

WARNING!!!

This is a sports slingshot. It is made to shoot balls (steel, clay, lead, etc.) DO NOT shoot at living beings, as it can cause permanent damage or even death. DO NOT use stones as they can damage the frame due to unpredictable flight patterns. Educate yourself on how to safely use a slingshot before attempting this project.

Things You'll Need:

• Ocularis Plugs (you can get them here: simple-shot.com/products/ocularis-plugs)
• Slingshot Bands (these are a good start: simple-shot.com/products/general-purpose-flat-bands)
• 50-70g of filament (PLA or PETG tested, anything else at your own risk)

Printing Instructions:

• 0.4mm nozzle recommended (0.6 possible)
• 6 perimeters (4 for 0.6mm nozzle)
• 6 top and bottom layers (at 0.2 layer height)
• 50% cubic infill
• Aligned Seams (for smoother handling and easier cleanup)

After Printing:

This frame is symmetric, so you can choose the shooter/target side freely. It does not matter.

Last Words:

The PLA version of the slingshot can withstand 120kg standing on top of it before breaking, the PETG version never broke and withstood 160kg. Please be careful and educate yourself before trying to shoot a slingshot. Only shoot when you know you are not endangering anyone. I am not liable for any damage you cause to yourself or others.
