The PPP MkIII Mod 2 in 10mm. This pistol takes one standard party popper munition, and connects the string to the trigger. Pull trigger, Pop! Welcome in the New Year with a faux firearm.
Printing
Print the main plate of parts as usual without a support, then print the split pins on a 2 layer raft because they are a bit touchy. Assemble by using putting printed pins in pin holes in handle and backstrap (optionally securing with glue). Insert trigger into popgun frame from the rear.
Use
With the trigger completely forward, poke a wire through the hole in the back until it comes out the muzzle. Snag the party popper string on the wire. Pull the wire back out, and the string along with it - the stem of the party popper goes into the muzzle. Use tapered plug to firmly trap the string while trigger is completely forward. Point in a safe direction and pull trigger. This hauls the string backwards, firing the party popper.
