I included a second Base Option (Stand Base 3.stl) - Round instead of rectangular. I think it looks and prints better than the rectangular one.
I am in the process of printing this out so, for now, I am posting without a finished print. I'll add the painted and finished images as soon as I am done.
This project was inspired by a colleague I work with whose was a firefighter early in her career and now is one of the most fearsome and learned fire code and life saftey inspectors I know. I sleep better knowing she is on the job. To thank her for all she's taught me, I am making her a display model of a firehose.
The version I am making for her includes a relief of a logo on the top of the Valve Housing. The version I am posting is smooth, so you can mix your own.
The valve and handle work though I would not recommend you running water through it at 200psi.
I also included a simple display stand with base.

I printed all parts as loaded in 0.30 except for Valve Assy 1 & 2 (which I did in 0.15) - just wanted to get a little more fidelity vertical resolution on those parts.
I recommend supports for Valve Housing 1 & 2 (but not more that 25 on threshold. It is just to help with the very top of the interior dome.Category: Props
