I've created this waterproof case for my sensor.
It is
o) easy to print (no support needed)
o) easy to assemble - just 2 M2 Screws
o) no specials needed - just a standard a rubber ring
o) easy to mount (zip tie or double sided tape)
The Nuts and Bolts are inserted in a way that you can open it while mounted (at least the sensor, where you will have to swap batteries) - in my scenario I've mounted it using a zip tie.
The magnet itself won't need waterproofing but I find it better to have them on the same level and in the same design / color
