Want to measure yourself or your kids? The book on the head + writing on the wall method is getting on your nerves? This will transform a basic tape ruler into a wall mounted stature meter as if you were at the doctor.
The model is made of three parts:
1. a headboard that you attach to the end of the ruler, you can tighten it to the rule with the ruler_attachment.stl part and two M3x6mm screws
2. a wall mount that you put at a fixed height and attach to your wall with screws or with double sided tape.
Because you are adapting a normal tape meter, you will have to set it to a fixed height (2m for instance) and always subtract from what you are measuring.
This was created to fit a STANLEY 3m x 13mm tape ruler. It might fit other small rulers, but you might want to adjust it if you want. Search for “toisemurale” on onshape to find the original model and adjust the variables.
Printed in PLA, no support, you might want to use a brim but if your adhesion is good, you'll be fine without one.
