My son first saw a bunk bed cup holder at his friend's house but felt it was flimsy and could easily spill. He decided to design his own for his bunk bed with the goal of making it very sturdy. He sketched his idea, measured his bed rails, measured his smallest and biggest favorite cups, and designed a cup holder using Fusion360. Printed at .2mm layer height and 20% infill with tree supports in PLA. Printed “upside down.” It fits perfectly snugly on his bed rail that had a width of 25.3 mm. You might need to scale up or down if your bedrails are a different dimension.
We aren't sure how to change the orientation that naturally opens on slicing software (not experts on CAD at all). It places the model on its side so you will need to rotate it.
