This is a hood that is placed around the bottom plate of an Anton Paar rheometer for evaporating samples.

This hood is designed as a solvent trap for samples being tested on Anton Paar rheometers that have volatile solvents. The design has been tested successfully and provides sample stability for at least 24 h.
Note:
- Please remember to seal the channels of reservoirs with an epoxy glue to prevent leakage of liquids. 3D-printed parts tend to be porous to liquids.
- Only suitable for cone-plate and plate-plate geometries.
