Supports may be omitted, but keep infill at higher level as your usual setting, because it has to be strong to withstand all the forces from all sides (ok, except top and bottom). Use some rubber band, wire, zip-tie to tighten the joints in right angle. You can scale it in any dimension to make it larger...
