This is a remix of SUNLU dryer holder for Prusa MK3s. I used the original model for almost a month and it got the job done. I decided to flatten out the holder so the filament rolled better. I also added spacer blocks instead of using zip ties to hold it together. There are small holes on the left side of the spacer blocks. Screw the spacer block to the left side of the holder. Clip both sides of the holder to the prusa MK3S and push together such that the spacer blocks are firmly against the right side of the holder. There are small holes in the right side of the holder. Drive screws in here and into the spacer blocks (no holes in the right side of the blocks).
I printed with 20% infill and I use PETG.
UPDATE 9.14.2021 - I recently printed a few tall prints and on one (out of four) of them the X-Axis “crashed” as it clipped the bottom portion of the clip. The bottom tabs stick out just far enough that they may interfere with the axis. All of my prints were the same height and only one of them had a problem. As a precaution, I updated the stl files to shorten those tabs and they are now flush with the printer frame. I did not reprint my holder. I marked the edge of the frame with a pen and cut the excess off with a hacksaw. I then filled in the edge with paintable acrylic caulk to hide the infill. Painted to match when dry. Looks good and cannot tell the mod was made.
If you have printed, you might want to check the x-axis clearance at the uppermost z-axis height to see if you will have any issues.
