This is an experiment still in progress.
These are meant to be printed with no top or bottom layers and 50% honeycomb infill. I also printed them with fuzzy skin to add surface area for bacterial growth. I used a food-safe semi-transparent PETG.
My personal use case for these is an experimental aquarium for three different aspects of the hobby that I haven't tried before and decided to combine into one tank. It's a brackish setup that has a tide controlled by a pump on a timer and features mangroves. However, they could be used for something much less complicated and printed cut down to any suitable height.
