This is a small, simple caliper holder that uses screws to affix to a surface, then holds the calipers vertically.

The “larger” model is used for a 300mm unbranded caliper set. I bought this one, but it appears to be a common design for multiple low cost 300mm digital calipers: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014ZYWL7G/
The “small” model is used for a 150mm unbranded caliper set of unknown origin. Mine say “Carbon Fiber Composite Digital Caliper” on the back, and “Electronic Digital Caliper” on the front.
No special considerations are needed for printing.
I recently decided to upload all of my designs, regardless of how likely I think it is that someone else will be looking for the same thing. I was and am still a novice at openSCAD, so the quality/customization of some of these designs is poor. If you have any specific questions, I will try to help.
