VESA adjustable support for Hue Play (Customizable)

Here is an adjustable VESA mount for Philips Hue Play. Multiple sizes are available to suit your needs.

For each arm, you will need:

• Small screws from the Philips Hue Play
• 2 x M4x10 or 12 (both lengths work)
• 1 x M4x25
• 2 x M4 nuts (lock nuts also work) or inserts (I use those from CNC Kitchen's, so check before using other types)

The space at the back of the VESA mount is of a diameter of 88mm. Ensure that your monitor stand is compatible.

How do you choose the right length of the arm on the side?

• Measure the width of your screen (in mm).
• Divide it by 2.
• Subtract 88mm.
• Finally, subtract the desired gap between the edge of your screen and the Hue Play (20 to 40mm is recommended to avoid seeing the Hue Play when in front of the screen).

The resulting value is the length of the side arm to choose. Ensure that the outer length of the arm fits within the dimensions of your printer.

For the top arm, it's a little different because all VESA mounts are not at the same height on each monitor.

• Measure the distance between the top of your monitor and the upper VESA holes (in mm).
• Subtract 38mm.
• Finally, subtract the desired gap between the edge of your screen and the Hue Play.

The resulting value is the length of the upper arm to choose.

(88mm and 38mm are specific values of my design)

If your monitor is completely flat on its back, choose the offset swivel mount. If there is a gap at the back of your screen larger than 12mm, you can choose the swivel mount.

Choose the version that suits you between nuts or inserts.
