***It is up to you to determine what material if any is safe for your fish, inverts, other misc. aquatic organisms.
Step 1: Print your desired base and your desired plant models. There are three different plant shapes and 4 different bases to choose from. Each can be used interchangeably. There are extensions for the plants as well, if you would like plants taller than can fit on your bed, print the matching extension and then glue them back to back to get the height you want.
Step 2: Using hot water, warm the plants up until you can twist and bend them to your desired shapes.
Step 3: slide the plants onto the base.
Step 4: place in aquarium, with the base covered with your gravel/sand/substrate.
Tips:
I printed my plants in PLA. The hot water from my tap was more than enough to heat them to a pliable state. YMMV.
Print the base with enough perimeters that there are no gaps or infill. You don't want any air pockets, 4 perimeters should be good.
I printed my plants with concentric top and bottom infill, and adjusted the top/bottom layers to keep a couple layers of infill in hopes it helped the plants be a bit buoyant and stand straight. I don't know if it mattered or not.
I printed at 0.2mm layers with color change at layer 6, other layer heights should work fine if you have some sort of preference.
My MK4 and Ender3 can both fit one instance of Plant A or C, or three instances of Plant B.
