Conversation Candy Heart Boxes

These heart-shaped candy boxes are a simple design made to look like conversation candies that are so popular for Valentine's Day. They are a big hit with kids both young and old!

I used AI to help create a list of popular conversation candy phrases organized by decade going back to the 1950's. I ended up with 20 phrases for each decade. While there are a few duplicates, it's an interesting look back at how pop culture influenced the phrases over the years.

The 3MF files are saved from Bambu Slicer, organized by decade, and have build plates ready for multi-color printing. The individual 3MF “covers only” files are generic 3MF files suitable for any slicer, including PrusaSlicer.

I have included a blank cover STEP file so you can use your favorite CAD program or slicer to add your own text to make custom phrases.

There are 3 different box depths included as STEP file. They are 20mm, 25mm, and 30mm deep.

Printing Recommendations

These look great printed face down on a textured plate.

I recommend .2mm layer height for the covers. The text is separate bodies that are .6mm thick, so they will use 3 full layers if you print at .2mm layer height.

The boxes can be printed with any layer height you prefer. These boxes are a relatively quick print.

If you want to print a single color cover, you can load the “cover only” file and delete the “CoverTxt” objects. This will leave you with just the cover with engraved text.
