Print everything in PLA with 0.2 mm layer height and change color for the chessboard pieces after 4.6 mm. Start with white and change to black. 10% infill is sufficient. PETG should work fine also. Please do not re-scale as assembly would not be possible.
For assembly cut 9 strands of filament (1.75 mm) to about 19.5 cm and slide it in according to the picture down below. Twist the filament whilst sliding in if you get stuck.
The finished board is about 25 x 25 cm. Each field is about 2 x 2 cm.
After playing put your pieces into the bins and slide the board on one endcap.
Insert both storage bins into the tube and secure it with the second endcap.
