I got a request for a 9x18mm Makarov ammo box. The spacing is 35pcs/10,25x26,07mm between the insert top and bottom.

I got a request for a 9x18mm Makarov ammo box. The spacing is 35pcs/10,25x26,07mm between the insert top and bottom. I am using 1,6mm stainless steel Tig-welding pin for the hinge and latch. I made the latch smaller than necessary but let me know if you prefer a bigger latch and i can make a bigger version.
I found that some of you have hard to find 1,6mm Tig-welding pin or other 1,6mm steel pin. I guess that is our friends in USA that still using inch. Let me know what's most common size you can find in your hardware store in inch size that is the closest to 1,6mm and also 2mm and i can do 2 versions of the boxes i make. One American and European/Asian version. It's hard for me to know where you live. I just get a request and i don't know he/her or the rest who may be interested live and what you can find in hardware. I don't use these ammo boxes myself and live in mm-world😊and just want as many as possibly can enjoy them.
