The original model was very nice, but I decided to beef up all of the parts for a little extra strength which may or may not have been necessary. The following changes were made:
1) Beefed up the top and bottom rings, the pillars, and the roof where it clips onto the top ring.
2) Added a 45 degree angled part to the bottom of each segment and roof for a little more extreme weather resistance.
3) Shortened the top ring by 1.5mm to make the gap between the roof and the first segment the same as the gaps between the rest of the segments.
4) Tightened the fit between the top ring and the roof by adding 0.5mm of material to the "V" shaped notches that clamp onto the roof.
The top ring fits very tightly and will be pretty difficult to install. The best way to install it is from under the pillars rather than trying to press the top ring down between the pillars from above. I intended to glue all joints upon assembly, but this model was so well designed by the creator that it's totally unnecessary. Please note that the file for the mount shown in one of the photos is not included. I printed mine in ASA with 100% infill. Thanks to oxygene for the really nice model.
