These adapters allow not-so-large straight-sided water bottles to fit in the EV9 cup holders without wiggling around so much.
The Inner Diameter is 76mm which is 2mm larger than the diameter of the water bottle I use. I can add versions for any inner diameter of 88mm or less for the big one, or 76mm or less for the small one.
The small adapter is very thin at the bottom for the 76mm size so I recommend printing it upside down (top of adapter on the build plate).
I used TPU filament so it would be slightly softer and the water bottles wouldn't clank against it as much.
Big adapter suggested print settings:
- 0.20mm layer height
- 5% infill
- Paint a seam on the outside, between the cutouts
Small adapter suggested print settings:
- 0.20mm layer height
- 5% infill
- Paint a seam on the outside, between the cutouts
- Print upside down with the top of the adapter on the build plate.
- Supports for the flat part of the cutouts if printing upside down.
