A small screw-top capsule with a friction-hold mounting plug to discreetly connect a Tile Sticker (2022 version) Bluetooth tracker to your bike's pedal axle, taking the place of the pedal bolt cover. Sizing is adjustable.

A common tip from bicycle mechanics is to spray-paint and glue the Tile Sticker to this location. The idea is that something that is disguised to look like it's a core part of the bike is less likely to be identified as a tracker and removed by potential thieves. With the capsule, the tile is removable for bike maintenance and it gives you a bit of extra ruggedness.

The Tile Sticker's battery can't be accessed without cutting open the original casing. I plan to make a version of this to hold just the electronics and a new battery when mine goes out.

Before printing, please measure the inner diameter of your pedal screw cap with a caliper. The STL-file has a plug diameter of 20mm like on my bike (and many Dutch models), and a 4mm slightly tapered plug for a good hold. If you need a different size, you can make your own STL file with OpenSCAD parameters, and you can optionally give it a light texture and adjust wall thickness.

I printed mine in Fiberlogy recycled “R ABS” at 95% shrinkage. Make sure shrinkage compensation is set correctly if you need to. I'm pretty sure PLA or PETG will work fine as well.  Infill doesn't really matter because it's mostly wall. Match whatever color plastic parts your bike has for the piece to blend in better.

I hope this is helpful!
