Punching cradle side wall can be combined with plywood 9mm wide x 4mm thick, or with 3d printed sides to form a full punching cradle. The gap is 2mm wide. I printed it in PETG and it works well. This model is slightly different from the photos because I optimized the design a bit after testing it.
