My partners car numberplate mount Broke.
OK… I broke it.
Wasn't able to find a number plate mount for a standard New Zealand Number plate to fit an Audi - so I made one.
Prints in 2 halves on my Ender 3 and joins together.
Print Settings:
- PETG (Better UV Resistance)
- .2 Layer Height
- Printed with supports for the connecting tab and hole
Required:
- 2 or 4 M6 Numberplate Bolts
- 2 or 4 M6 Nuts
- Whatever Screws are holding on your current mount
- Rubber feet (optional)
Assembly:
- Print both halves
- Friction fit or glue in the nuts
- you can probably figure out how the connect together.
You've got this, I believe in you. - Stick Rubber feet underside to avoid scratching car paint
Finishing:
- I Spray painted this with matt black paint, just to help it last longer in the sun
Installation:
- Screw Mount onto car
- Bolt Plate on to Mount
