This is a wiring bracket for the CR5. It guides the hot-end wiring and PTFE tube so they don't interfere with the lid.

I mostly print with ABS on my CR5 and I almost always have the lid on. Since the bed is close to the top at the beginning of a print I find it difficult to see how the print is initially progressing just by looking through the door. So, I take the lid off and get a peek from the top. Once I try to replace the lid I am always annoyed that the PTFE tube + wire loom shifts to the left and then interferes with putting the top back on. So, I made this simple cable guide to hold the wire loom and PTFE tube in place on top of the frame so that they are not supported by the lid and therefore won't shift around when the lid is moved. There are two parts: a bracket and a cable guide. The bracket is made to fit over the existing printed bracket on the back of the CR5 that guides the wire loom from the top back to the wiring channel inside the case. The bracket that I have is 3D printed and has two slots on either side. The grooves on the bracket are designed to slide into those slots. Then the cable guide screws into the bracket. Adjust the height of the bracket (by sliding it up or down) so that the cable guide sits flush with the top of the printer. The size of the cable guide allows it to fit perfectly into the notch in the side of the lid. This requires 4 pieces of hardware: 2x 8mm M3 screws (10 or 12 is also fine since I made the inner channel long enough), and 2x M3 thin square nuts. The square nuts are (5.4x5.4x1.8mm). I slid the two square nuts into the rectangular channels in the top of the bracket all the way to the bottom. You should be able to see the hole in the square nut when looking through the hole in the bracket. Then line up the holes in the cable guide and fasten them together with the M3 screws.
I printed this in PLA with 0.2mm layer height and 20% infill. I only used supports attached to the build plate but in retrospect I should have done supports everywhere because the top rail groove on the bracket needs support. Mine turned out fine but I was a little worried. If you have good fan ducts it might not be a problem. The 3D printed bracket that came with my CR5 had a significant elephant's foot which I had to remove so that my bracket would fit without bowing. It is made to be tight and I had to clean up the detritus left by the supports to get it to slide on smoothly. I have tested this and it works great! Enjoy.
