BOX

SMACKMAX created a new genre of futuristic storage containers.  My favorite was TUBE. Simple, no hardware and very useful.  The only thing i found wrong, it was too small for some of the uses I wanted.  So i dove into creating a larger storage container that followed his design flow.  BOX is the result.  Large (10" x 10" x 10" exterior cube) with a simple, no hardware required lid system utilizing SMACKMAX Enterprises KNOP locking system.

Assembling the locking lid is simple.  Heat the locking tabs with hot water so they are just soft enough to bend a little, push through the opening and then hold in flat position until cooled.  Then either ‘weld’ or glue the retaining plate to cover and keep them aligned.  Again, glue or “weld” the bottom in place. Once assembled merely place the lid on BOX, slide the tabs to lock and secure with the locking knop.
