If you want to replace the dated Creality Touchscreen on the Sermoon D1, and also replace the firmware with something that actually works, then this mod is for you.
The original screen has been replaced with BigTreeTech TFT5 v2.1, and the firmware is running of a Raspberry Pi 4B.
The firmware used is Klipper with Mainsail, Moonraker and KlipperScreen.
The screenholder is attached to the custom base that fits as a replacement for the Sermoon D1 screen mount.
The original Sermoon D1 screen has been completely detached.
The performance of this printer is amazing compared to the Creality firmware. It prints as nice as my Prusa MK4, albeit 40% slower.
