This has many uses but was designed for 3d printers. Will also work for turntables, cameras, speakers, etc.

This is what I call a zero gravity mount as it floats, isolating the top from the bottom and dissipating the vibrations produced in all axis. There are several models loaded in various sizes.  The one that has a hole in the middle which was the original design.  The others with added holes are the ones I would use unless you want to try playing with using a spring in the middle.  Using 3/8'' rubber tubing and bearings to hold in place worked well but a larger size tube/bearing combo would likely work a bit better.  The best option is using ninjaflex for the elastic part as it is very high strength and its elastic properties are ideal for tuning the mounts.

I highly recommend these mounts.  I used petg and polycarbonate to print them, both seem to be holding up very well.

Vibration damping testing was done using the accelerometer on my test printer. The results of these tests can be found in my Youtube shorts.

Please let me know if you would like a remix etc. for these and I will see if I can help.  Several ideas around this concept have come up so I look forward to showing them off and posting the files.

Lastly, these mounts actually make for an incredible articulating joint.  Something that could be used for animatronics, robotics and 3d printing just to name some of it's potential uses.

All research, fooling around and updates are posted to my channel.  I will edit this description with some links to videos asap but until then check out Meliorate With Nate on Youtube.
