This is a D20 dice, which I made specifically to follow certain design rules.
As with any good standard D20, the opposite faces always add up to 21.
With my design, the ordering of the faces also alternates low & high, so that low numbers are usually surrounded by high neighbors, and high faces are surrounded by lows.
I've also chosen to use the "Chilanka" font specifically because it's 6s and 9s are not identical when flipped. If anyone knows of any other fonts with distinctly different 6s and 9s, please let me know!
I'm able to print them pretty reliably, using just a brim with a brim distance of 0.35. I tried to rotate the the overhanging faces so they can print without supports and still be readable, but they may still need a little cleanup after printing. Supports might help, if you can dial them in right, but I didn't find them worth it.
Be sure to use 100% infill, since that should ensure it's as balanced as 3D printing can get.
