I've recently upgraded to an SKR Mini E3 V3 board and had an ESP8266 lying aound, so I decided to set up ESP3D and put it in a box attached to the middle extrusion.
Features:
- Dupont connectors are accessible, but not exposed.
- The top is secured with 4 M3 screws.
- Cutout for micro USB, large enough to fit chonky connectors.
- Vents over the controller to let it breathe.
- This one was also my first try on shadow lines, for easier assembly and better looks.
I've uploaded more variations of the bottom part in stl and step files, so you can customize it to your own mounting needs
