This is a solar filter for the Orion Skyquest XT8 printed on my Prusa XL. I am including the OpenSCAD source so it should be relatively easy to customize for other telescope models.
The necessary parts are the top and bottom which sandwich the filter material and hold it in place with friction. I did not use any glue or other adhesives. I also included a dust cover and bottom cover for storage that are optional.
I used this filter from Amazon, though I imagine there are other options out there.
If customizing, you will need a relatively recent copy of the BOSL2 library.
