This is a simple, magnetic sewing fence I made because I often struggled to sew a straight line. It uses a 25mm diameter by 4 mm magnet which is inserted into the print. Simply use the pause at layer height feature in the slicer to insert the magnet and resume to allow the magnet to be printed over.
This is especially useful on all metal or vintage machines because you can quickly stick it anywhere on the machine when not in use and then grab it again for use.
To use on the machine, line up the edge of the fence with your allowance and then put the edge of the fabric against the fence and let the sewing machine do its thing, resulting in much easier, straighter stitches and allowing you to sew much faster and consistently. It feels like cheating.
