Use this Pot o' Gold to hold individually wrapped candies, party favors or decorative items. Not intended for liquids or unwrapped foods.
Print the main part of the pot inverted as oriented in the STL file with organic or tree supports.
Print the gold insert using a layer height of 0.1mm or less to produce the best detail in the gold nugget/dust texture and coins. Use a bright gold silk PLA.
The model was printed using an AnkerMake M5 with AnkerMake black PLA+ for the pot and Mika3D gold silk PLA.
The overall size of the main part of the pot is approximately 6 ¼" (159mm) in diameter and 3 ¾" (95mm) high. The gold insert can be slipped down into the cauldron for storage. The pot is the same model as my Halloween Witch's Cauldron and uses the same insert size so you only need to print the pot/cauldron once to use and store any or all of the inserts.
I used MeshLab as one of tools in the creation of the random surface.
