AUG 2024 - V0/Printers for Ants: Do not print this!!!
I hope to have a V0 compatible mount when finishing my Hex-Zero build.
Carto/Beacon sits already very close to the bed, I didn't like how the stock probe mount had the risk of screws getting loose messing the off-set sending the nozzle into the sheet.
It isn't about of if but when due to the printer vibrations.
So I merged the probe mount with the cartographer mount with only 2 screws holding it in place instead of 4
Y-offset: I have Dragon HF hotend and I am using y_offset: 27.8 from the tip of the nozzle to the middle of the coil.
Is it correct?? Idk, but works for me
I recommend printing it with more stuff with it coz of this overhang to allow it cool down before the next layer or the overhang might look like garbage.
I couldn't improve more because of the two screws holding it against the carriage mount. You will need a hex key for that.
The distance is just right
Cartographer3D is working as expected 20x20
