I wanted to use the JRNY app on my Bowlfex Max Trainer M6, which requires a screen. I am over 5'10" and found that the tablet mount that comes with the Bowflex Max Trainer M6 is too low for comfort, and also makes it difficult to have good form while working out (I didn't want to have my neck tilted all the time).
I designed this mount to sit on top of the same poles as the stock Max Trainer mount, but it sits on the top of them.
This is an easy print- use at least 5 walls/shells, and 15-20% infill. Print the files as oriented. You will need two of the cylinders (one for each side) and one each of the brackets, for left and right.
There is some tolerance built into the parts. The cylinders are intended to be a loose fit over the metal poles on the Max Trainer. Once you put your tablet on them, it should stay in place just fine. When I use the machine, the tablet stays put. It may have some lateral movement, especially if you are really pushing it, but the sides are blocked so the tablet can't slide out.
This is currently a “v1” design. It is working great for me, but I have a few minor things I may add to improve the design: for example, keeping the cylinders from rotating when the tablet is not on it with a cross beam, and a few wedges for varying tablet sizes to keep it more locked in so there is no lateral movement. Remixes are definitely encouraged, too!
If you find this mount useful, please be sure to favorite/like my model.
